I'm in my eighteenth year of teaching, and tenth as a principal. I've worked in Fort Vermilion School Division, Grande Yellowhead Public School Division and am currently with Parkland School Division. I spent my first 8 years teaching grades 1-6 before becoming principal of Entwistle School (for 6 years) and then moved to Wabamun School where I have been principal for the last 3.5 years. My wife Jill is also a teacher, my biggest supporter, and the person who helps bring perspective and challenges me. My favorite hobby is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. BJJ reminds me of what it means to be a student, and the importance of resilience and always growing.
