Electronics and simple circuits are engaging, fun and surprisingly simple. Who does not like a blinking LED, annoying buzzer or the shrill chirp of an electronic bird? This session will introduce you to basic electronic components, circuit prototyping and the basics of soldering. The session will focus on the many resources available, virtual and physical, that can be used in your classrooms. The discussed resources will assist in the fulfillment of ELT 1010 course requirements but the activities will easily fit into Middle School Science and Technology Classrooms. Div 1-2 classrooms could use the simpler components discussed. Resources will be shared during the session.
