Writing stories is not just for writers. Stories not only help us understand others, they help us understand ourselves. Stories help students create their identities as they write their views of the world into existence. Through story, students can examine their cultural heritage and create their own hero’s journey. Join author Lois Donovan for an insightful and inspirational exploration of writing stories that matter, by kids that matter. Session includes practical writing activities that will fit easily into Humanities curriculum. Q & A to conclude session.
