Teaching Social Studies is all about creating engaged citizens – but how can we get them engaged in our classroom? With other teachers, I have developed some overarching activities that strive to help students see the links between the different curriculum objectives in addition to seeing how it relates to the “real world”. I will share with you some of these activities, including digital access that will allow you to adapt it for your own classroom.
