Visual Journals are an excellent tool to use in the elementary classroom. They help students to process information, reflect on what they have learned and to show their understanding of the topic. Visual journals are highly adaptable for students with differing abilities. This presentation will show how they can be used in all subject areas from Kindergarten to Grade 6. It will also show some Indigenous concepts that can be incorporated into Visual Journals. No creativity or drawing experience needed.
