Teaching Statistics in Math and Science with Code

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
An understanding of statistics is becoming increasingly important in our world, and as math and science teachers we have an opportunity to develop student competencies in this area. We'll look at ways to incorporate statistics and data analytics into curricular outcomes, explore available resources, and talk about how you and your students can analyse data with Python in Jupyter notebooks (for free) through the federally-funded Callysto project.

Enter to win a $50 Amazon gift card by competing an optional Callysto feedback survey (http://bit.ly/callysto-feedback) after attending one our sessions!

You can preview the slides for the talk by opening this link to a Jupyter notebook: https://tinyurl.com/callysto-catca-1
